  Abstract:
We first genralize the model introduced in the Ref.[4] to two interacting Ising models with different coupling constants, and study the importance of fluctuations in determining the character of the forces between colloidal particles. we then propose a model consisted of three coupled Ising models for examining the influence of the medium on the interactions between particles. The model is also used for discussing the three body interactions. The free energy is obtained exactly (for coupled Ising chains), and approximately (for couples ising planes), and the resulting forces are discussed in the context of the colloidal system.
