  Abstract:
Orbital motions of magnetized and relativistic electron beam in electromagnetic and magnetostatic pump wiggler are considered. It is shown that relativistic effects destroy the magnetic resonance associated with the cyclotron frequency ωc and the wiggler field frequency ω1/ wavenumber κ. For the electromagnetic-wave wiggler a condition is found under which enhanced wiggler induced velocity can be obtained. Connection between the above resonances and the electron cyclotron resonance in plasma is discussed.
