Abstract: | |
We present a multi-parametric generalization of the Temperley-Lieb algebra, which leads to new solution of the Yang-Baxter equation. Using a graphical representation we find a recursive formula for the number of elements of this algebra. This new algebra is used to find the number of independent words of arbitrary length for the Tempereley-Lieb algebra. This new algebra leads to new skein relations.
