  Abstract:
Free energy, entropy, specific heat, pressure and incompressibility of liquid 3He are calculated using the lowest order constrained variational (LOCV) method. The Lennard-Jones and Aziz potentials are employed in our calculations. The dependence of the saturation properties of liquid 3He on the temperature is shown. It is seen that at low temperatures, the liquid 3He has a specific heat varying linearly with temperature. We have shown that the equation of state of liquid 3He with Aziz potential is harder than with Lennard-Jones potential. We have seen that our results with LOCV method agree with the other results which are performed by using more sophisticated many-body techniques.
