Abstract:  
We introduce and study the notion of ESwstability for an integral domain R. A nonzero ideal I of R is called ESwstable if (I^2)_w = (JI)_w for some tinvertible ideal J of R contained in I, and I is called weakly ESwstable if I_w = (JE)_w for some tinvertible fractional ideal J of R and widempotent fractional ideal E of R. We define R to be an ESwstable domain
(resp., a weakly ESwstable domain) if every nonzero ideal of R is ESwstable (resp., weakly ESwstable). These notions allow us to generalize some wellknown properties of ESstable and weakly ESstable domains.
