Extensive measures to ensure a reasonable level of the data quality on plasma focus ion beams are taken through the magnetic spectrometry along with the space charge formulation on a diode. The results provide a reliable reference for the ion beam scheme with beam energy of about 80 j and an average acceleration potential of 38 kV for a low energy plasma focus.
