Algebraic hyperstructures represent a natural extension of classical algebraic structures in which the composition
of two elements of a set is a set, instead of an element. The main purpose of this paper is to provide, for the first
time, a physical example of hyperstructures associated with the elementary particle physics, Leptons. We have considered
this important group of the elementary particles and shown that this set along with the interactions between its members can be described by the algebraic hyperstructures
