A Model for Coagulation and its Macroscopic Description

Abstract:

We describe a microscopic model for coagulation and study its macroscopic behavior. Microscopically we have a large number of clusters. When two clusters collide, they form a larger cluster. We show that the macroscopic density of clusters satisfy a partial differential equation.
