Weekly Seminar on Noncommutative Schwinger model

Abstract: We introduce the Schwinger model, two dimensional QED with massless fermions. This model shows dynamical mass generation for the photon due to the special form of its vacuum polarization tensor at one-loop level. Then, the noncommutative version of the Schwinger model is presented and the result of the photon's pole structure analysis will be mentioned.
