New Appointment and Some Renewals at IPM

The following people were appointed by the Director of IPM to the headships of the schools.

Siamak Yassemi succeeds Gholamreza B. Khosrovshahi as the head of School of Mathematics. GBK stepped down of his post after ten years.
Hossein Esteki, Hashem Rafii Tabar, and Hamid Sarbazi-Azad were reappointed to their posts as heads of Schools of Cognitive Sciences, Nano Sciences, and computer Sciences, respectively.

These appointments are all for two years.
