Absorption spectra of fractal clusters of metal particles, the magneto-optical response (Faraday rotation and circular dichroism) of gold and silver clusters, engineering the spectrum by hollow size, extended Mie theory, magnetic hot spots, and hybrid nanoparticle-quantum dot systems will be discussed.
