"The Young Mathematicians Prize 2004" was awarded to Shokrollah Salarian, an associate researcher of the School of Mathematics of IPM and an associate professor of University of Isfahan, to acknowledge his outstanding research during the past 3 years (2002 to 2004).

The awards committee of 2004 consisted of Mojtaba Moniri (IPM & Tarbiat Modarres University ), Mehrdad Shahshahani (IPM) and Rahim Zaare-Nahandi (Chairman of the committee, University of Tehran).
