Scientific Cooperation

The Wolfgang Pauli Institute (WPI), located in Vienna, was founded by a group of scientists and Wittgenstein laureates for the promotion of high level scientific research in those fields where mathematics plays a fundamental role. Establishing a global network of scientific institutions with goals confluent with those of WPI has been a focal point of the institute's vision. IPM and WPI have entered into an agreement for scientific cooperation. The forthcoming international meeting on Nonlinear Partial Differential Equations to be held at IPM in December 2004 is a collaborative effort by IPM and WPI.
