Abstract: We use the holographic description of Boundary Conformal Field Theory to describe Local Quench in a CFT by AdS gravity. We also use the Ryu-Takayanagi prescription for Entanglement Entropy to study some features of time evolution after quench. Our holographic model produces the previously known CFT results of Cardy et al.
