Research Activities

There is a realization of instantons in string theory, the topological objects which are Devy well-known in supersymmetry field theories. It turns out that beside the gauge instanton are the type of instantons called "exetic" or "string" instantons can imerge from string theory. They both correct the Low-energy effective action of the theories. We have studied the effect of multi-stringy instantons in the prepotential of N=2 super Yang-Mills theory with gauge group SU(2) and its generalization to SU(N).

Present Research Project at IPM

We are interested in extending the stringy instanton calculus to obtain the corrections in the prepotential of the N=2 super Yang-Mills theory with gauge group SU(N)to all orders of instanton charges.
