  Abstract:
Fragmentation is known as the dominant production mechanism of hadrons with large transverse momentum and forms the nonperturbative and little known aspect of hadroproduction process. In the present work, we calculate the fragmentation function of gluon into pseudoscalar heavy quarkonia to the leading order in αs in the standard model as well as the noncommutative QCD framework. To study the noncommutative effects, we apply the Seiberg–Witten maps to the first order of the noncommutative parameter θμν. Our study shows that for the large values of gluon transverse momentum, the noncommutative effects show up for ΛNC<0.6 TeV, although these effects extremely depend on the used scenario to consider the polarization states of heavy quarkonia, while the corresponding results in the ordinary standard model are independent of applied scenario.
