Abstract: | |||||||
Our aim in this article is to perform the standard next-to-leading order (NLO) par-ton distribution functions QCD analysis of the inclusive neutral-current deep-inelastic-
scattering (NC DIS) world data. Parton distribution functions (PDFs) are important for the theoretical description of hard QCD processes at hadron colliders such as forth-coming LHC. In the present paper we restrict the analysis to the NLO heavy avor corrections and extract heavy quark avors distributions. These analysis are undertake within the framework of the so called "variable avor number scheme" (VFNS) parton
model predictions at high energy colliders.We generate VFNS parton distributions where the heavy quark avors h = c,b,t are considered as massless partons within the nucleon.
By studying the role of these distributions in the production of heavy particles at high energy ep and pp colliders, we show that our results for parton distribution functions and proton structure function are in good agreement with the DIS data and other theoretical
models.
