| | The 10th Ahwazi Brain and Cognition Award, the most prestigious neuroscience award in Iran has been awarded to Dr. Mojtaba Madadi Asl. After being selected as the third place winner of the oral presentation section in the Young Investigator competition at 12th Basic and Clinical Neuroscience Congress, Dr. Mojtaba Madadi Asl was
nominated to receive the Ahwazi Brain and Cognition Award. The
certificate of this award was presented to him by the Iranian Neuroscience Society and the Cognitive Science and Technologies Council during the closing ceremony of the 12th Basic and Clinical Neuroscience Congress.
The Ahwazi Brain and Cognition Award is the most prestigious neuroscience award in Iran, presented annually by the Iranian Neuroscience Society and the Cognitive Science and Technologies Council of the Vice Presidency for Science and Technology. It is awarded to selected individuals under the age of 35 among researchers in fields related to neuroscience and, cognitive sciences and technologies. The Ahwazi award is named after Ali ibn al-Abbas al-Masoudi al-Ahwazi, a prominent Iranian physician from the fourth century. | |
