The fourth course on neural data analysis (NDA 2023) will be held in collaboration with the Cognitive Science Research Institute, the Institute for Research in Fundamental Sciences, and the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Tehran, with the support of the Cognitive Science and Technology Development Headquarters to develop and expand scientific and specialized activities in the field of cognitive sciences and create appropriate platforms for transferring information and experiences to professors and students of neuroscience, physiology, and medicine in the field of cognitive sciences.

This virtual course will be held for two months from August 2023. Participants will watch the instructional videos of previous courses to become familiar with the principles and methods of neuroscience data processing, programming in MATLAB environment, and implementation of spiking activity and local field potential-based processing methods in MATLAB. Then, the programming and data processing sections are practiced and addressed simultaneously with researchers and teaching assistants in virtual sessions by participants.

The content of the virtual course on neuroscience data processing has been prepared in collaboration with the professors of the Cognitive Science Research Institute, the Institute for Research in Fundamental Sciences, the Convergent Technologies Center, the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Tehran, and the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Tarbiat Modares University.
