Abstract: Rare B-decays are sensitive probes of New Physics (NP). In the past decade these processes have played a complementary role to direct searches for NP. In this talk we will present an overview of the theoretical framework for these processes. We then address the implications of recent LHCb results for rare B-decays on NP, focusing on supersymmetry.
