| 11:00 - 12:00 Journal Club: Experiment & Phenomenology – meeting Cosmic First-order phase transitions in light of pulsar timing arrays School PARTICLES AND ACCELERATORS Abstract: Based on the recent observation of a stochastic gravitational wave background in the frequency band around (1-10) nHz reported by pulsar timing array (PTA) experiments, I review some possible sources for these signals. In particular, I will discuss first-order phase transitions generated gravitational waves compatible with the recent data.
