Probabilistic Logic-Based Models in Reconstructing Gene Regulatory Networks
Gene Regulatory Networks (GRNs) are connected graphs of genes as nodes and gene-gene interactions as edges. In this graph, and in a more complex scenario, multiple genes (regulators) bind together to make a complex molecule to regulate/control their target gene. Logical relationships among these regulators - as a major problem in biology - are usually identified with Boolean/multi-state logics.
