10:00 - 12:00 Weekly Seminar Wealth distribution function, physical and economic models School BIOLOGICAL SCIENCES The distribution of wealth and its dynamics have interested physicists and economists. The distribution exhibits scaling properties. For a long period of time, such a distribution has been power-law. Evidence shows that even back in ancient history, such a power-law property had persisted. A number of agent-based models which result in such a universal property have been proposed by physicists and economists. In this talk, we review the proposed models. We also analyze the related data for Iran. This Seminar is free and open to the public |
