11:00 - 12:00 Wednesday Weekly Seminar - meeting Induced Gravitational Waves from Non-attractor Inflation and NANOGrav data School PARTICLES AND ACCELERATORS Abstract: In this seminar, I will discuss scalar-induced gravitational waves within the context of single-field non-attractor inflation, focusing on their implications for the Pulsar Timing Arrays data. The model under consideration encompasses three distinct phases of inflation: the first and third phases correspond to slow-roll inflation, while the second phase represents a period of non-attractor inflation. I will present the model's predictions for different values of the sound speed and explore its implications for NANOGrav observations as well as future gravitational wave detection. Join me as we delve into the intriguing ... 15:30 - 17:00 Geometry and Topology Weekly Seminar An Introduction to non-Archimedean Pluripotential Theory School MATHEMATICS Like its complex counterpart, non-Archimedean pluripotential theory studies plurisubharmonic functions and Monge-Ampere equations on non-Archimedean analytic spaces in the sense of Berkovich. It provides a useful tool to analyze degenerations of complex analytic objects in general, and the notion of K-stability entering in the Yau-Tian-Donaldson conjecture in particular. This talk will propose a gentle introduction to this circle of ideas. Location: https://meet.google.com/you-qymk-ybu Venue: , (Online) ... |
