11:00 - 12:00 Theory weekly seminar (TWS) Search for new physics at the large hadron collider School PARTICLES AND ACCELERATORS Abstract: The Standard Model (SM) of particle physics has been one of the most successful theories with remarkable predictions verified in plenty of experimental observations. The SM, however, suffers from some experimental and theoretical shortcomings. Many theories beyond the SM (BSM) have been developed to address some of these deficiencies. These BSM scenarios need to be tested by experimental observations. In this talk, I will explain how particle collisions in the large hadron collider help us search for new physics beyond the SM. I will also discuss the most recent results obtained in searches for flavor-changing neutral ... |
