Abstract: The terrestrial experiments have been operating during the years in order to detect Dark Matter (DM) particles, including the recoil experiments that aim to measure the direct evidence of the interaction between the new particle and nuclear or atomic targets. Recently, the XENON1T collaboration observed a 3.5? excess of events from recoil electrons which might be the evidence for the existence of DM particles with masses around 90 keV. How relevant is pre-processing in shaping present-day properties of early-type dwarf galaxies (dEs) in massive clusters?

During this talk I will present the analysis of the kinematics and stellar population properties of nine early-type dwarf galaxies (dEs) of the Virgo cluster. According to the results of Lisker et al.(2018), these nine dEs were accreted onto Virgo as gravitationally bound members of a massive galaxy group (Mstar ? 10^13 Msun ) along the observer’s line of sight about 2-3 Gyr ago. We confirm a similar accretion time by investigating their distribution on the projected phase-space diagram. Migrating immune cells enhance their search efficiency by persistence-speed coupling

Migration of immune cells is believed to be optimized in the course of evolution to reduce their search time. Nevertheless, so far the optimality of the search for pathogens and other targets by immune cells has not been verified. Mediated by retrograde actin flows, the speed of migrating cells is coupled to their directional persistence in such a way that they decelerate to change the direction of motion. We prove that the coupling between directional persistence and migration speed enables dendritic cells to search for pathogens more efficiently. Semantics of Boolean-valued Models and their Connection and Application to the Standard Model of Set Theory

This talk has two parts. In the first part, we will explore some basic aspects of the semantics in Boolean-valued models using tools developed in conditional set theory. The focus will be on Boolean-valued models built from measure algebras. We will describe some basic definitions and theorems in the naive set theory, topology, measure theory, and functional analysis in such models and show with a few examples how such Boolean-valued theorems can be proved from first things and by hand using Boolean reasoning and the exhaustion principle (and without employing a transfer principle).
