11:00 - 12:00 Journal Club: Experiment & Phenomenology-google meet A brief review of searches for axion-like particles School PARTICLES AND ACCELERATORS Abstract: Axion-like particles (ALPs) are pseudo Nambu-Goldstone bosons associated with a spontaneously broken global U(1) symmetry. These particles have found numerous applications in many areas of physics as they provide the possibility of solving some long-lasting SM problems. Are ALPs real or fictitious? To date many experimental searches have been performed to shed light on this question. In this talk, I will briefly review these searches and try to give you a perspective on the current status of ALPs. https://meet.google.com/zcd-vwvz-bws ... |
