Thismethod can reduce the duration of entire tumor treatment andincrease its effectiveness. Moreover, shortening the treatment time significantly reduces thecost and accessibilityof the therapy. As a result of interdisciplinary research, aninnovative accelerator for IOERT, the Intra-Line, wasdeveloped. In the course ofthis work, four patent applications were fi led.
