These experiments which study the nuclear transition of excited 8Be and 4He to their ground states plus an electron-positron pair, show an excess of events in the opening angle and the invariant masses of the electron-positron, which can be explained very nicely with the help of X17. In this talk, we will discuss these experiments, and how a new gauge boson with mass 17 MeV can fit the data. We wil ... |
