Abstract: | |||||||
In this paper The current understanding of the structure of the proton is reviewed,
along with a framework within which diractive deep inelastic processes may be studied.
More over, the presence of diraction in deep inelastic scattering is suggested, conrmed
and quantied. At the end, our conventional DGLAP analysis which results in a good
description of diractive structure functions at higher values of Q2 is detailed and the
present level of understanding of the partonic structure of the diractive exchange is
discussed.
