Abstract: In my talk, I will introduce the cosmological perturbation theory. First of all, I will start with gravitational field equation in the presence of perturbations. Then I will introduce scalar, vector and tensor decomposition (irreducible representations). The concept of gauge invariant quantities is another important part which will be covered in my talk. Finally, I will briefly study solutions of the perturbation equations for special cases.
