I studied Biomedical Engineering at Amirkabir Technical University for my BSc (2004-2008) and MSc (2008-2011). During these two programs, I worked on "Design of Electrical Stimulator and Control of the Elbow Joint Using FES" and "A Black Box Model of the Paralyzed Arm for Reaching Control Application Using FES in People with Spinal Cord Injuries." I have been a PhD Candidate of Cognitive Sciences at IPM Since 2012 (including two years of maternity leave). Generally, I am interested in Social and Affective Cognition and Neuroeconomics; specially, Social/Moral/Emotional Decision Making and Judgment, Social Influence, Social Interactions, Joint Actions, Attitude Change, Cognitive Consistency (e.g., cognitive dissonance theory), Decision Making under Uncertainty, Individual Differences, Metacognition, Reasoning. For my PhD thesis, I am working on the topic "Choice-Induced Preference Change in Collective Decisions in Comparison with Individual Decisions" under supervision of Dr. Bahador Bahrami and Dr. Farshad Fatemi.
