This derivation is achieved through a general disformal transformation, except for boundary terms. We also confirm that this extensive family of theories is invariant under all disformal transformations. In particular, in our study, we explore the connection between the Grumiller-Ruzziconi-Zwikel (GRZ) theory and Horndeski.
