Abstract:
The Large Hadron Collider (LHC) is the largest and most powerful particle accelerator worldwide. Inside the accelerator, two high-energy particle beams travel very close to the speed of light before they are made to collide at TeV scale. Collison happens at four locations around the accelerator ring in four sophisticated and most current advanced particle detectors of ATLAS, CMS, ALICE and LHCb for different experiments. For the experiments, the linear accelerator 3 (Linac 3), generates required ion beams initially.
