In particular, it is shown that the circulation conservation laws, such as Kelvin, Alfven, and Bekenstein-Oron theorems, are special cases of the Poincare-Cartan integral invariant of Hamiltonian systems. Using this result, a strong version of Kelvin and Bekenstein-Oron theorems are obtained for non-isentropic flows. It is also shown that the flow of an isentropic perfect fluid is the geodesics of certain conformally related spacetimes. Larak Seminar Room |
