Abstract: "In this paper, authers show how studies relevant for mono-X searches at the LHC in simplified models featuring a dark matter candidate and an s-channel mediator can be performed within the MadGraph5 aMC@NLO framework. They focus on gluon-initiated loop-induced processes, mostly relevant to the case where the mediator couples preferentially to third generation quarks and in particular to the top quark. Their implementation allows them to study signatures at hadron colliders involving missing transverse energy plus jets or plus neutral bosons (Y, Z, H), possibly including the effects of extra r ...

Higher Aronszajn trees
Aronszajn trees are of fundamental importance in combinatorial set theory, and two of the most interesting problems about them, are the problem of their existence (the Tree Property), and the problem of their specialization (the Special Aronszajn Tree Property).
In these talks, we review some known results about higher Aronszajn trees. The first talk is devoted to the tree property and the second one is devoted to the special Aronszajn Tree Property. We also mention some open problems. ...
