It causes a net polarization signal whose amount depends on the scatterer species in the stellar atmosphere and the nature of the source star. The maximum amount of this polarization signal can reach to 0.6-0.7 per cent for early-type source stars which is potentially observable by FORS2/VLT. Then, the photoresponsivity of the fabricated heterojunction ultraviolet photodiode was investigated.
